Summit School is proud to announce the opening of its new Family Resource Center, which is currently located at Summit School Early Learning Center. Sponsored by funds from the Grand Victoria Foundation, the resource center is available to families that have a child on the autism spectrum and the staff that serve them. The main objective of The Resource Center is to assist families in addressing the three main components that impact their child’s life: school, home and medical.

The Resource Center will be offering case management services to enrolled children to assist in obtaining information, coordinating services, and collaborating with service providers. In addition, The Resource Center hosts monthly parent groups with sibling support groups to follow. The Resource Center will also be providing seminars and trainings on pertinent topics that are of interest and benefit to all families facing the challenges of raising a child with autism.

A directory of area providers/resources will be available to families by calling the resource center at (847) 488-9207.
